Senior (2013):

Gorodetsky claimed her stake as one of the top defensive players in the history of NCAA Women’s Soccer at the Division III level, becoming just the second D-III defender and eighth D-III player overall to be named a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-American four times.  She was selected to the NSCAA All-America Third Team in 2013 and the D3Soccer.com All-America First Team, in addition to claiming a spot on the NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region First Team.  Gorodetsky also become the first University Athletic Association (UAA) women’s soccer player to be named the conference’s Most Valuable Player on three occasions, earning the honor for the third-straight year and a spot All-UAA First Team for the fourth-straight season.  She was the leader of an Emory defense that shutout 10 opponents and ranked 20^th in Division III with a 0.557 goals-against average, while limiting the opposition to 8.95 shots and 3.3 shots on goal per game.  Offensively, Gorodetsky recorded a career-best 10 points, coming on four goals and two assists.  She was named the UAA Athlete of the Week on September 23^rd, after scoring three goals (including both game winners) and leading the defense to a pair of shutouts against Birmingham-Southern and Berry.  The senior center back earned the conference’s weekly honor again on November 11^th, following the team’s 3-0 win over 23^rd-ranked Carnegie Mellon, during which she scored the game-winning goal and assisted on another.  Gorodetsky also assisted on a goal in Emory’s 3-0 win over Brandeis on October 20^th.  She took 20 shots during the year, including 13 on goal, and led all Emory players with 1,709 minutes played during the campaign.  In addition to her plethora of athletic honors during the season, Gorodetsky was named a Capital One Academic All-American, earning a spot on the First Team, and the NSCAA Scholar All-America Third Team.  She ended her career with 83 starts in as many games played, ranking second in school history in starts and third in games.  Gorodetsky scored 11 goals and assisted on nine others for 31 points, and her seven career game-winning goals are tied for the 12^th-most in the program’s record book.

Junior (2012):

Gorodetsky cemented her reputation as one of the top players in the country in 2012, earning D3Soccer.com's Defensive Player of the Year honor, in addition to being placed on both the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and D3Soccer.com All-America First Team.  She became the first three-time all-American in Emory history, and was one of just three three-time selections (and the only non-senior) on the NSCAA All-America team.  Earlier in the season, she was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) co-Most Valuable Player (sharing the honor with Washington University's Anna Zambricki), becoming the first Eagle and fifth UAA women's soccer player to win the honor more than once.  In addition, Gorodetsky was named to the all-UAA First Team for the third-straight season, becoming the seventh Eagle to earn three or more all-UAA First Team selections, and claimed a spot on the NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region First Team.  During the NCAA Tournament, Gorodetsky helped led an Eagles defense that allowed just three goals in six games, earning the NCAA Tournament Most Oustanding Defensive Player award and a spot on the NCAA All-Tournament Team.  She was one of five players to start all 24 games during the year, a school record, and logged 2,241 minutes, a program record.  The center back helped the team record a .461 goals-against average, the 13th-best mark in Division III, and a 0.583 shutout percentage, the 30th-best mark in the country.  Gorodetsky and the Eagles defense also held opponents to 7.1 shots and 3.6 shots on goal per game. Offensively, Gorodetsky finished the year with one goal and four assists, with the only goal being a game-winning free kick against Wheaton College (Ill.) in the NCAA Semifinals.  She also assisted on a goal during the Eagles' 2-0 win over DePauw University in the first round of the NCAA Championships, and converted a penalty kick during the fifth round of the shootout of the Eagles' quarterfinal match against Carnegie Mellon, allowing Emory to advance to its first Final Four.  The junior took a career-high 22 shots during the season, 11 of which were on goal.  Gorodetsky was named the UAA Athlete of the Week on September 4th, September 24th and December 3rd.  In addition, she was named to both the Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team and Academic All-District squad for her efforts both on the field and in the classroom.  Along with teammate Kelly Costopoulos, the two became the sixth and seventh Academic All-Americans in the history of the Emory women's soccer program, and the 134th and 135th in Emory Athletics history.  After three seasons, Gorodetsky has scored seven goals and assisted on seven others for 21 career points.  Her 64 career games started are tied for the 18th-most in the program's history (13 shy of Amy Williams' program record) and her 64 games played are 17 short of the Emory record (held by Lee Bachouros and Melanie Levy).

Sophomore (2011):

Gorodetsky was one of just nine Division III players to be named a repeat all-American in 2011, earning a spot on the NSCAA second team.  In addition, she was one of just three sophomores to earn all-America status and the only one to be named to either the first or second team.  Gorodetsky became just the fifth player in Emory history to become a repeat all-American, joining former Eagles Diana Spock (1993 and 1995), Annie Schenck (2000 and 2001), Andrea Pawliczek (2000 and 2001) and Grace Lam (2007 and 2008).  It was the 16^th all-America honor garnered by Emory players in the program's history.  Earlier in the year, she was named the Most Valuable Player of the University Athletic Association (UAA), becoming just the fourth Emory player to win the award in the team's history.  She also earned spots on the all-conference and all-South Atlantic Region first teams.  Gorodetsky led an Emory defense that allowed just five goals all season, finishing third among NCAA Division III teams with a 0.242 goals-against average, the best mark in the program's history.  The Eagles' backline shut out a program-record 16 opponents, good for a 0.8 shutout percentage, also the third-best mark among Division III squads in 2011.  Gorodetsky and the Emory defense limited opponents to just 6.35 shots per game and 2.6 shots on goal per contest.  The sophomore contributed offensively as well, scoring four goals for eight points during the year.  Three of her four goals scored were game-winning strikes, coming against Birmingham-Southern College on September 16th, Maryville College (Tenn.) on September 18th, and the University of the South on September 25th.  Starting all 19 games she played in during the campaign, Gorodetsky took 11 shots, six of which were on goal.  She was named the UAA Athlete of the Week on September 19th, October 17th and November 14th.  Gorodetsky was recognized for her academic success as well, claiming a spot on the Capital One Academic All-District team.

Freshman (2010):

Gorodetsky became the first NCAA Division III freshman in four years to be named an all-American, and the first defender since 2002, earning a spot on the NSCAA/Performance Subaru all-America Second Team.  She also became the 11^th all-American in Emory history, the fifth defender, and the second freshman.  Earlier in the year, she also garnered all-South Atlantic Region and all-University Athletic Association (UAA) first team honors.  Gorodetsky was the center defender for an Emory backfield that recorded a 0.557 goals-against average in 2010, the 23rd-lowest mark among NCAA Division III teams.  The Eagles recorded 10 shutouts during the season, while limiting opponents to just 4.1 shots on goal per game, including 11 games of three shots on goal or less.  Included in that group of contests were Emory’s first two games of the NCAA Tournament, where Gorodetsky and the Eagles backline held Maryville College and Lynchburg College scoreless on four shots, just two on goal, on back-to-back days.  Gorodetsky started all 21 games she played in during the season, while setting a school record with 1,914 minutes player during the year.  She also contributed on the offensive end of the field, scoring a pair of goals and assisting on three others.  One of her goals came during her first collegiate game, helping the Eagles defeat Lee University, the eventual NAIA champions, 2-1 in overtime.  Gorodetsky’s other goal was during the regular season against Maryville College (Tenn.), an NCAA Tournament team, helping Emory to a 3-1 victory.  Two of her assisst came in back-to-back games against UAA opponents Case Western Reserve University and Carnegie Mellon University, both Emory victories.  She was twice named the UAA’s Defensive Player of the Week during the 2010 campaign, once on October 25th, and again on November 15^th.

Played for four seasons on the Jensen Beach High School soccer team, serving as the team captain during her junior and senior years... Was named the Stuart News Player of the Year in 2010... Earned a spot on the All-State First Team in 2010, and was an honorable mention to the team in 2009... Also earned all-area first team honors in 2009 and 2010, and second team honors in 2007...
