Emory University junior Shivani Beall was selected as the University Athletic Association's Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week on Monday, marking the first time in her career she has earned the weekly award.
Beall recorded the first hat trick for the Eagles in almost five years as the team defeated Covenant College, 4-0, on Wednesday in the team's lone match of the week. The three-goals marked a career-high for Beall and was her second multi-goal game of the season. For the year, Beall leads the Eagles with eight goals and 19 points, both figures marking new career-bests.
Emory returns to the pitch this Friday night, October 26th, against Carnegie Mellon University in the first of three UAA contests to close out the regular season. Kickoff against CMU is set for 7:30 PM at the WoodPEC.
