The Emory University women's soccer team battled to a 3-3 tie against No. 2 ranked Carnegie Mellon University in a Saturday afternoon thriller at the WoodPEC in Atlanta.

The Tartans' Cecelia Dieterich opened the scoring barrage in the 63rd minute, scoring off a free kick for her team-leading seventh goal of the season.

From there, two Emory rookies accounted for three unanswered tallies as the Eagles took what looked to be a commanding 3-1 lead. Freshmen Kaitlyn Nimmer put in a Grace Reyer rebound for the game-tying goal in the 69th minute before classmate Emily Woodall scored the go-ahead strike with a terrific free kick from the top of box. Woodall was not done scoring, picking up her second goal of the contest three minutes later as she headed in a Kylie Hall cross at 80:49.
