Finished 26th on the team out of 39 competitors in points scored in dual and championship meets.

Junior (2003-04):

Junior Liz Shields earned her third career All-America certificate by swimming a leg on the 200-yard medley relay. She had the fourth fastest 100-yard butterfly time on the team this season. Shields was seventh on the team out of 35 competitors in points scored in dual and championship meets.

Sophomore (2002-03):

Liz Shields, a sophomore, earned two All-America certificates as a member of the 200-yard freestyle and 400-yard medley relays. At the Miami (Ohio) Invitational, Shields set four school records (100-yard free, 200-yard free, 100-yard fly, 400-yard IM). Shields finished the season with the most points scored among the 33 Emory swimmers in dual and championship meets. She was named conference Athlete of the Week for her performance the weeks of November 18-24 and December 2-8. Shields was named the Division III national Swimmer of the Week by college swimming.com after her December showing at the Miami Invitational.
