My most memorable athletic moment was: When I was 12 years old I was going for my YMCA short course National cut in the 200 fly. I was at finals of the New Jersey YMCA state meet and it was my last chance for the cut. I was ranked first, but I was still two seconds off the cut.  While I was swimming the race I knew I had the time and left everything behind. I dropped those seconds, got the cut, and won States. To top it all off, every single person on my team was behind the blocks cheering for me.

My most memorable Emory athletic moment: I haven't been here long, but probably how nervous I was to swim the 200 butterfly for the first time and the Blue v. Gold meet. Once I started swimming though, all the nerves went away and I finished in a pretty decent time.
