Emory University's Lillian Ciardelli recorded four ‘B' cut performances during Emory's season-opening win over Division I Davidson College. Ciardelli finished second in the 50-yard freestyle in a provisional qualifying time of 24.10 seconds and fourth in the 100-yard freestyle with a ‘B' cut time of 52.89 seconds. The senior also helped two Emory relay teams to first place finishes and provisional times, swimming the second leg of the 200-freestyle relay (1:35.82) and the butterfly leg of the 200-medley relay (1:47.19). Ciardelli, a 10-time all-American and National Champion as part of Emory's 200-freestyle relay team last season, helped the Eagles to a 164-130 win over Davidson.
