Emory University sophomore Anne Culpepper won an individual National Title in the 200-yard backstroke as part of Emory’s team championship effort at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships. Culpepper won the event with a time of 1:59.74, a personal-best time. She also earned all-America honors in the 500-yard freestyle and the 1,650-yard freestyle at the NCAA Championships. Culpepper’s performance helped guide the Eagles to the third National Championship in the history of the Emory women’s swimming and diving program.
