Anna Dobben

Emory University junior Anna Dobben was a part of two NCAA ‘B’ cut performances and three first-place finishes during a pair of dual meets last week.  Against the University of Kentucky on Sunday, Dobben recorded a ‘B’ cut time of 52.15 seconds in a third-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle.  She later swam a leadoff leg of 24.13 seconds to lead the Eagles to a win in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a ‘B’ cut time of 1:35.70.  Also in the meet, Dobben swam an anchor leg time of 23.42 seconds en route to a 200-yard medley relay time of 1:49.69 and a fourth-place finish, and finished second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.07 seconds.  During a dual-meet win against the University of Tampa on Friday, Dobben helped the Eagles to relay victories by swimming a 24.90 leadoff leg in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:38.17 overall relay time) and a 24.03 anchor leg in the 200-yard medley relay (1:48.92 overall relay time), in addition to finishing second in the 100-yard freestyle relay with a time of 53.98.
