Emory University senior Anna Dobben was a part of two NCAA ‘B’ cut relays during the top-ranked Eagles’ tri-meet against Division I Florida State University and Division II Florida Southern College. Dobben opened the meet by swimming the freestyle leg of the 400-yard medley relay, helping the squad finish third in a provisional qualifying time of 3:54.65. She concluded the meet by swimming the third leg of the Eagles’ third-place 400-yard freestyle relay team, which finished in a ‘B’ cut time of 3:31.85. Dobben also finished eighth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.55 seconds and fifth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.30 seconds. With Dobben’s help, the Eagles split the tri-meet, defeating Florida Southern 189-99 and falling to Florida State 185-102.
