Emory University junior Nancy Larson recorded six top-five finishes and eight NCAA ‘B’ cut times during the Miami Invitational in Oxford, Ohio last weekend.  Larson’s top individual finish came in the 100-yard freestyle, where she claimed second with a ‘B’ cut time of 50.61 seconds.  She added provisional qualifying times with a fourth-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (23.53 seconds), an 11th-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.52) and a 14th-place finish in the preliminaries of the 200-yard individual medley (2:07.11).  Larson was also a part of four ‘B’ cut performances by Emory relays, swimming the anchor leg on the third-place 400-yard freestyle relay (3:26.50), fourth-place 200-yard freestyle relay (1:43.50) and 400-yard medley relay (3:47.11), and the fifth-place 200-yard medley relay (1:44.59).  She accounted for 132 of the Eagles’ 1,374.5 points, helping Emory finish fourth in the team standings.
