Prior to Emory:

Swam on the Acton-Boxborough Regional High School team for four seasons, serving as the team captain in the fall of 2009... Was the school record holder in the 100-yard backstroke... Recorded career-best times of 58.48 seconds in the 100 back and 2:12.43 in the 200 IM... An NISCA All-American Academic in 2009... Coached  by Jeff Johnson... Also swam for the Patriot Swim Club, where she was a sectional qualifier, and a USA Swimming Academic all-American in 2010.

Personal:

Born May 22, 1992... Brother is a former swimmer at Carnegie Mellon... Member of the Emory Culinary Club.
