Emory University freshman Mara Rosenstock won both diving events during the Eagles’ season-opening dual meet against the NCAA Division I University of North Carolina-Wilmington on Saturday at the Woodruff Physical Education Center. Competing in her first intercollegiate meet, Rosenstock finished first out of six competitors in the one-meter dive with a score of 278.78, good for an NCAA qualifying score. Earlier in the meet, she registered the top score of the six competitors in the three-meter dive, winning the event with a mark of 261.68. Rosenstock totaled 18 points for the Eagles, helping the squad upset its Division I opponent by a 157-131 score.
