Prior to Emory:
Was a four-year member of the Panther Creek High School team... Was a NC All Star, her high school's Most Valuable Performer, and earned All-America consideration... Recorded career-best times of 55.28 in the 100 back, 51.22 in the 100 free, 23.56 in the 50 free and 2:08.05 in the 200 back... Was a part of the state record setting 400 free relay team... Helped her team finish second in the state... Was coached in high school by Greg Ray and Larry Umberger... Was coached by John Roy on her club team, where she reached Junior Nationals (NCSA and USA Winter).
Personal:
Born February 22nd... Worked as a swim instructor and a summer league coach... Was an AP scholar with distinction and a scholastic all-American in high school.
