Was a four-year swimmer for Bethesda Chevy Chase High School, serving as a team captain during her senior season... Won the Baron of the Year award for 2010-11... PVS Scholar Athlete Award winner... Recorded career-best times of 58.46 in the 100 back, 2:05.3 in the 200 back, 58.86 in the 100 fly and 2:12.3 in the 200 IM... Coached by Jason Blanken in high school... Also competed for the Nation's Capital Swim Club, where she was coached by Tim Kelly and was a two-time NCSA qualifier.

Personal:

Born May 11th... Father, Kenneth, was a swimmer for the University of Pennsylvania... Worked as a swim coach for a summer league team.
