A trio of Emory University divers were in competition this week opposite of their swimming counterparts, taking part in the MIT Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.

All three divers finished inside the top-three in each event at the meet while going against divers from MIT, Tufts, Wellesley and Keene State.

In the women's competition, sophomore Ren Watt and senior Tess Klugherz headlined the Eagles. On Saturday, Watt earned the top spot in the 3-meter competition with a winning score of 486.55 with Klugherz taking third at 471.80. On Sunday, Watt and Klugherz secured second and third place showings in the 1-meter with Watt posting a score of 495.20 and Klugherz checking in at 463.00.

In the men's events, senior Alex York represented Emory at the meet and registered a pair of third place efforts. In the 1-meter, York scored 431.60 before following that up with a 480.45 score in the 3-meter on Sunday.

The Eagles will now be away from action until January 20 when Emory will battle West Florida and Delta State in the annual tri-meet.
