Sophomore (2006):
Shapiro turned in a successful sophomore campaign, going 16-7 in singles play and 21-8 in doubles. Earned all-conference honors for the first time in her career, being named to the first team for No. 5 singles and No. 2 doubles. Her singles record consisted of 4-0 at No. 4 singles and 11-6 at No. 5 singles, while also winning the ITA doubles in the fall. In three-set matches she finished a perfect 4-0, while going 4-2 in tiebreakers and 2-0 in third-set tiebreakers. Her doubles record of 21-8 included going 5-0 with Cristina Arellano at the No. 3 position during the NCAA tournament.
Freshman (2005):
Compiled 4-1 singles record. Two of her singles wins were against players from Washington & Le (Va.), the eventual national runner-up in the NCAA team championship. Season doubles record of 3-0, all with teammate Cristina Arellano.

Highest national ranking of 145 in girls 16's. Highest sectional ranking of 18 in Midwest girls 16's. Highest ranking of top 10 in Chicago.
