Emory University’s Lindsay Reidenbach was a perfect 2-0 in both singles and doubles matches, including the match-clinching victories in each of the fourth-seeded Eagles’ two NCAA Tournament contests. During Saturday’s second round match against Methodist University, Reidenbach did not drop a game, teaming with Jordan Wylie to win the third doubles match 8-0, and later clinching a 5-0 Emory win with a 6-0, 6-0 victory in the fifth singles match. On Sunday, the junior helped the Eagles advance to the quarterfinals round with a 5-0 win over sixth-seeded Washington and Lee University, winning her doubles match with Wylie 8-1, and her singles match 6-3, 6-4, over the 25th-ranked player in the Atlantic South Region. Reidenbach’s record now stands at 20-5 in singles matches this season, and 15-5 in doubles play. Her performance this season has helped the fourth-seeded Eagles to a 20-5 overall record, and to their 21st quarterfinals berth since the 1985 season.
