Sophomore (2009-10):

Schechter finished her 2009-10 campaign with a 3-3 record in singles play, including a mark of 2-1 in tournament play.  At the Wilson/ ITA Fall South Region Championship, she won a pair of singles matches to advance to the round of 16 of the singles bracket.  Teamed with Kristen Hillock for doubles matches at the ITA Regionals, Schechter went 2-1 to advance to the quarterfinals round of the tournament.

Freshman (2008-09):

Schechter earned all-University Athletic Association honors during her first campaign with the Eagles, as the freshman was named the second team's fifth singles player.  She finished the year with a 13-3 record in singles matches, including a 10-2 mark during Emory's dual matches.  Schechter went 5-6 in doubles matches, including a mark of 2-1 in tournament play and a trip to the semifinals of the Wilson/ ITA Atlantic South Regional Championship.  Schechter was named the team's Most Improved Player at the end of the season.

2008-09 All-UAA Fifth Singles Second Team

Prior to Emory:

Played on the W.B. Ray High School tennis team for four seasons, serving as the team captain during her junior and senior years... Was ranked in the USTA's top-50 in Texas... Named the all-South Texas MVP in 2007, and was an all-South Texas Singles player from 2004-07...Coached by Steve Denton and Alex Johannsson in high school.
