Emory head women’s tennis coach Amy Bryant has announced
that Kelsey Grad (Mamaroneck, NY) will be
enrolling at Emory in the fall of 2010 and be competing for the
2010-11 Eagles' tennis team.
Grad joins the Emory program with previous collegiate
experience, having played the 2009-10 campaign as a freshman for
NCAA Division I member Lafayette College, where she was named to
the Women’s Tennis All-Patriot League Second Team.
Grad is a graduate of Mamaroneck High School and played No. 1
singles all four years. In 2008, she ranked 44th
in G18 singles in the USTA Eastern Section.
She will join Gabrielle Clark (Chicago, IL),
Malavika Padmanabhan (Saratoga, CA),
Taylor Brandt (Beverly Hills, CA), Brenna
Kelly (North Oaks, MN) and Meghan Logun
(Marietta, GA) as newcomers to the program this fall.
