Emory Women's Tennis Lands Another Commitment For 2010-11

Emory head women’s tennis coach Amy Bryant has announced that Kelsey Grad (Mamaroneck, NY) will be enrolling at Emory in the fall of 2010 and be competing for the 2010-11 Eagles' tennis team.

Grad joins the Emory program with previous collegiate experience, having played the 2009-10 campaign as a freshman for NCAA Division I member Lafayette College, where she was named to the Women’s Tennis All-Patriot League Second Team.

Grad is a graduate of Mamaroneck High School and played No. 1 singles all four years.  In 2008, she ranked 44th in G18 singles in the USTA Eastern Section.

She will join Gabrielle Clark (Chicago, IL), Malavika Padmanabhan (Saratoga, CA), Taylor Brandt (Beverly Hills, CA), Brenna Kelly (North Oaks, MN) and Meghan Logun (Marietta, GA) as newcomers to the program this fall.
