The third-ranked Emory University women's tennis team will receive a first round bye and travel to the University of the South in Sewanee, TN for the second and third rounds of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Friday and Saturday.

Joining Emory in Sewanee will be conference-rival and 13th-ranked Washington University in St. Louis (16-5), the 18th-ranked University of the South (16-5), Principia College (10-5), Agnes Scott College (13-2), and Rose-Hulman College (14-4).

After receiving a first-round bye, the Eagles will face the winner of the opening round match between Principia and Agnes Scott.  On the other side of the bracket, Washington University will receive a first round bye, and face the winner of the University of the South and Rose-Hulman in the second round.  The second round victors will face each other in the third round.

Emory's second round match is scheduled for Friday, May 13th at 2:00 PM Central Time, with the third round match taking place on Saturday, May 14th at 10:00 AM Cental, unless the University of the South is the other team, in which case the match will be played at 1:00 PM Central.

The winner of the Sewanee regional will travel to the final three rounds from May 24-26 at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, Calif.

Emory, 19-4 in 2011, will look to improve upon its runner-up finish during last year's NCAA Tournament, when the team suffered a loss in the championship match to Williams College.
