Freshman (2011-12):

Damico finished her freshman season with a 7-1 record in singles play and a 2-3 mark in doubles action.  She was undefeated as a singles player during the dual-match season, going 5-0 including a 2-0 mark as Emory's sixth singles player.  In doubles play, Damico went 2-3 during the year, including a 1-1 mark in tournament play and a 1-2 record in dual matches.  At the UAA Championships, she helped the Eagles win their first-round match against New York University, claiming a 6-0, 6-0 win in the third singles match and an 8-2 win in the second doubles contest.  During the fall, Damico advanced to the round of 16 in both the singles and doubles draws at the ITA Regionals.  She was named an ITA Scholar Athlete for her academic and athletic performance during the season.

Played of the Fox Chapel Area High School for three seasons, serving as the team captain during the 2010-11 campaign... Was ranked as high as 334th by TennisRecruiting.com and 236th by TennisRPI her senior year... Was a WPIAL Quarterfinalist in 2009 and 2010... Coached by Alex Slezak in high school.

Personal:

Born September 26, 1992... Selected to the highest honor roll in high school, an AP Scholar, and a member of the National Honors Society.
