Freshman (2011-12):

Truitt went 5-1 in singles play during her freshman season, including a perfect 3-0 during the spring campaign.  She claimed a singles victory over her fourth singles counterpart from NYU during the Eagles' first round victory at the UAA Tournament.  In doubles action, Truitt finished the season with an overall mark of 8-9.  During the ITA Fall Regionals, she teamed with Malavika Padmanabhan to advance to the semifinals, before suffering a defeat to teammates Gabrielle Clark and Zahra Dawson, the top-ranked pairing in the draw.  In the singles draw, she went 2-1, including a 6-2, 6-1 win in the round of 32 over the fifth-seeded player in the tournament.  Truitt was named an ITA Scholar Athlete for her academic achievements during the season.

Played on the Riverview High School tennis team for four seasons, serving as the team captain all four years... Was her team's first-singles and doubles player in 2011, and the third singles and second doubles player from 2008-10... Coached by Kathy Rosenberg... Ranked as high as 226th on the Babolat Recruiting List and 367th on the IMG TennisRPI list her senior year.
