Emory University junior Jordan Wylie earned
wins in both singles and doubles play during the fourth-ranked
Eagles victory over Brenau University. Wylie claimed an 8-4
win at second doubles with teammate Madison Gordon over
Brenau’s Dominika Jasova and Zalina Nazarova, the
24th-ranked team in the NAIA. Playing out of the
second singles spot for the Eagles as well, the two-time
all-American defeated Vladica Djurdjevic in straight sets, 6-0,
6-3. Wylie now stands at 8-9 in singles play and 3-3 in
doubles matches this season. Aided by Wylie’s effort,
the fourth-ranked Eagles defeated Brenau 7-2 to improve to 4-2 on
the season.
