Freshman (2012-13):

Taylor claimed an all-America honor for her doubles play during the fall season in her inaugural campaign for the Eagles.  The freshman teamed with Gabrielle Clark to win the doubles draw of both the ITA Fall Atlantic South Regional Championship and the Division III draw ITA Small College Nationals.  The pair became the third doubles team to win the ITA Small College National Championship in the history of the Emory Women’s Tennis program.  Teaming with Brenna Kelly in the spring, Taylor earned a place on the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) First Team for her play at third doubles.  The duo won their final 12 matches of the season together, and were 16-2 overall during the spring season.  Taylor finished the year with an overall doubles record of 27-7, giving her the fourth-most doubles victories ever by an Eagle during a freshman campaign.  She added a 4-3 record in singles matches, including a win as Emory’s sixth singles player against Division II Clayton State University in her only singles action of the spring season.  In the fall, she advanced to the quarterfinals of the singles draw at the ITA Atlantic South Region Championships as the tournament’s ninth seeded player.
