Sophomore (2012-13):

Damico completed her sophomore season with a record of 5-2 in singles matches and 4-5 in doubles contests.  During the fall, she won two singles matches at the ITA South Regional Championship, both in straight sets, advancing to the draw’s round of 16.  She also teamed with Catharine Harris to advance to the quarterfinals of the doubles draw, winning a pair of contests before falling to eventual tournament champions Gabrielle Clark and Emma Taylor.  Also in the fall, she advanced to the final match of her singles flight at the Duckworth Fall Classic.  In the spring, Damico won the only singles match she appeared in, claiming a straight-set sixth-singles victory at the University of Hawai’i – Hilo. 

 

Freshman (2011-12):

Damico finished her freshman season with a 7-1 record in singles play and a 2-3 mark in doubles action.  She was undefeated as a singles player during the dual-match season, going 5-0 including a 2-0 mark as Emory's sixth singles player.  In doubles play, Damico went 2-3 during the year, including a 1-1 mark in tournament play and a 1-2 record in dual matches.  At the UAA Championships, she helped the Eagles win their first-round match against New York University, claiming a 6-0, 6-0 win in the third singles match and an 8-2 win in the second doubles contest.  During the fall, Damico advanced to the round of 16 in both the singles and doubles draws at the ITA Regionals.  She was named an ITA Scholar Athlete for her academic and athletic performance during the season.

Played of the Fox Chapel Area High School for three seasons, serving as the team captain during the 2010-11 campaign... Was ranked as high as 334th by TennisRecruiting.com and 236th by TennisRPI her senior year... Was a WPIAL Quarterfinalist in 2009 and 2010... Coached by Alex Slezak in high school.

Born September 26, 1992... Selected to the highest honor roll in high school, an AP Scholar, and a member of the National Honors Society.
