The event gave the Eagles' players not in action at the USTA/ITA Small College Nationals an opportunity to face opponents from a number of Division I programs, including the University of Louisiana – Monroe, the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga, and Georgia State.

The tournament format feature a 'round robin' style, pitting singles player and doubles pairings from each school against each other in a series of flights.

Emory highlights from Friday's action included a singles win for sophomore Stephanie Loutsenko over the University of Louisiana – Monroe's Angela Tejedor, 6-3, 6-3, and a doubles victory for senior Brenna Kelly and sophomore Madison Gordon over the University of Tennessee – Chattahoochee's Kaylene Chadwell and CC Mulyadi, 8-7 (5).

On Saturday, both junior Catharine Harris and freshman Katarina Su earned singles victories, with the former claiming a 6-2, 7-6 (1) win over Mulyadi, and the latter defeating Alison Storie of Chattanooga in three sets, 6-3, 2-6, 6-2.

The Eagles wrapped up play on Sunday, with a pair of Emory players adding on singles wins.  Junior Rebecca Siegler, returning from doubles action at the USTA/ITA Small College Nationals, defeated Georgia State's Tarani Kamoe in three sets, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2, while Su earned her second singles victory of the weekend with a 6-2, 6-3 with over Georgia State's Tiffany Flood.
