Emory University has been selected as a first-round host of the 2014 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships, as the top-ranked Eagles (23-2) will welcome Methodist University (22-2), Berry College (17-2), Hanover College (15-4), the #20 University of the South (20-3) and #19 Washington and Lee University (17-2) to the Woodruff Physical Education Center from May 9th – 11th.
After receiving a first-round bye, the Eagles will play the winner of the first-round match between Methodist and Berry, while on the other side of the draw, Washington and Lee will receive a bye before facing the winner of Hanover and Sewanee.
The first round match between Hanover and Sewanee will be at 9:00 AM on Friday, May 9th, followed by the Methodist and Berry contest at 2:00 PM. On Saturday, Washington & Lee's match against Hanover or Sewanee will be at 9:00 AM, followed by the Eagles' match against Methodist or Berry at 2:00 PM. The winners of the two Saturday matches will meet in the third round at 1:00 PM on Sunday.
