Emory University junior Beatrice Rosen closed out play at the USTA/ ITA Small College Nationals on Saturday with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Vassar's Kate Christensen, claiming a third-place finish in the singles draw.

Rosen, who entered the tournament as the fourth-seeded player and finished with a 2-1 record in singles matches, improved to 8-2 overall in singles play during the fall.

Emory will be back in action next weekend, finishing its fall season at the Grizzly Open, hosted by Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Georgia from Friday, October 17^th – Sunday, October 19^th.
