Freshman (2015-16):

Lopez concluded her rookie season with a 13-5 overall record in singles matches and a 16-9 mark in doubles action. In the fall, Lopez opened her career by reaching the quarterfinals in both the singles and doubles draw of the ITA South Regional tournament. During the spring, Lopez won 10 straight doubles matches, all at the no. 1 position, with seven successful decision being partnered with Anna Fuhr to begin the spring portion of the schedule. In singles action, Lopez went 8-3 in dual matches with seven victories coming when the calendar flipped to 2016. Lopez appeared in a pair of matches during Emory’s NCAA tournament run playing at fifth singles versus Methodist and sixth singles against 10th-ranked Washington University but did not receive a decision in either match as both went unfinished.

Prior to Emory:

She was a member of the Ransom Everglades tennis team under Head Coach Peter Lehmann...Served as team captain during her senior season...Spent time as her high school's number 2 singles player as a sophomore and junior, number 1 as a senior...Played at number 1 doubles for her final three seasons...Was the individual doubles state champion in 2012 and 2014...Helped her team to state and national titles in 2014.

Personal

Born on January 1, 1997...Was a National Honor Society member from 2013-2015...Also a member of the French Honor Society in 2014 and 2015.
