A day after helping the Emory University women's tennis team capture its seventh national title in program history, sophomore Bridget Harding and juniors Michelle Satterfield and Katarina Su were in action on Thursday afternoon at the NCAA Division III Individual Championships in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

In the singles draw, Harding won her first two matches to advance to the quarterfinals. Harding, the fourth seed in the draw, defeated Lewis & Clark's Summer Garrison 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-3 in the first round before beating Tufts' Lauren Louks in straight sets 6-4, 6-3. Harding, now 24-11 in singles matches this season, will face Pomona-Pitzer's Caroline Casper tomorrow morning at 10:30 AM.

After earning the match point in yesterday's national championship match, Satterfield saw her season come to an end on Thursday as she was upended in straight sets by Pomona-Pitzer's Maryann Zhao 7-6 (8-6), 6-3 in the opening round of the singles draw. Satterfield finishes her junior season with a 22-7 singles record.

In the doubles competition, Harding and Su advanced to the quarterfinals with a convincing 6-2, 6-0 victory over Wisconsin-Whitewater's Megan Humphreys and Bridgid McGuire in the Round of 16. Up next for the Emory duo will be the Williams' pair of Juli Raventos and Linda Shin who were 6-2, 6-3 winners over the Redlands' tandem of Natalie Etchegaray and Lauren Villanueva on Thursday. The quarterfinals match between Harding/Su and Raventos/Shin is scheduled to start at approximately 4:30 PM on Friday.
