Emory University finished 31st in the final national power ratings for NCAA Division III, compiled by the U.S. Track Coaches Association. The power rating measures a team's quality and depth. Emory was the second-highest rated team in the South region.
Emory had two entrants at the NCAA national outdoor championships, Emily Watts in the 100-meter dash and Jane Ukandu in the 200-meter dash.
Watts, a senior, finished 15th out of 19 competitors in the 100-meter dash. She ran a time of 12.45 seconds, her fifth fastest of the season.

In addition to the two official national qualifiers, Emory had five other provisional qualifying performances during the season.
Caroline Hagedorn had the 21st fastest time nationally in the 5,000-meter run, less than five seconds away from the last qualifier selected for the national meet. Ukandu recorded the 24th fastest time in the nation in the 100-meter dash. Kate Bowman was 27th on the national top times list for the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
The Emory 4x100 relay of Katie Anding, Janina Kreider, Ukandu and Watts was 32nd in the nation. Anding also provisionally qualified in the pole vault with a jump that ended up as the 52nd best in the nation.
Emory placed third at the University Athletic Association outdoor championships, marking the 15th time in the conference's 18-year history that the Eagles were in the top three.
The Eagles had two individual champions at the conference outdoor meet. A total of nine all-conference performances (top-three finish) were attained by Emory.
Watts finished won the 100-meter dash with a school-record time of 12.19 seconds. Ukandu set a school-record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.07 seconds while finishing second.
