Jasmine McCullough

Emory University junior Jasmine McCullough recorded two NCAA provisional qualifying times during the Western Carolina University Invitational on Friday.  McCullough’s time of 14.70 in the 100-meter hurdles was good for a third-place finish, and .29 seconds better than the NCAA provisional qualifying time.  The mark was a personal record for the junior, and the seventh-fastest time in the program’s history.  Her time in the event ranks as the second-fastest by a UAA competitor this season, and is tied for seventh among all NCAA Division III runners this season.  McCullough also ran the leadoff leg in the Eagles’ 4x100-meter relay team, which finished second in the event with a time of 47.91 seconds, the seventh-best time in school history and .74 seconds better than the NCAA’s provisional qualifying mark.  The time ranks as the fourth-fastest by an NCAA Division III program this season, and the best among UAA schools.
