Emory University freshman Debora Adjibaba helped the Eagles set a school record in the 4x400-meter relay at the Vulcan Invitational last weekend. Adjibaba ran the leadoff leg of the fifth-place relay, which broke its own program record with a time of 3:55.26, the fastest mark in the University Athletic Association (UAA) this season and eighth among all NCAA Division III relays. Individually, the freshman recorded the top 200-meter dash time in the UAA this season with a mark of 26.04 seconds in the event, the eighth-fastest in school history and good for a 31st-place finish at the meet. Adjibaba added a 32nd-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.97 seconds, third among all UAA competitors this season and 41st in Division III.
