The Emory University Women's Track & Field team recorded seven All-UAA finishes on day two of the UAA Indoor Championships at Brandeis University. The Eagles finished third overall at the meet, scoring a total of 85 points across the two days of competition. Washington University was crowned team champions after registering 159 points while the University of Chicago tallied 99 points.

Sophomore Dani Bland earned All-UAA honors in two events on Sunday to lead the Eagles. Bland took second in the 55m Dash, breaking the UAA record with a time of 7.16. Her mark also tied Debora Adjibaba's time at the 2014 UAA Indoor Championships for the fastest time in school history. Bland added a third place showing in the 200m Dash in a time of 25.86.

In the mile, junior Gabrielle Stravach broke the school record with the first ever indoor sub-5:00.00 time, placing second at 4:57.04. Sophomore Ariana Newhouse turned in a second place finish in the 400m Dash at 57.96 as did classmate Jordan Small in the high jump with a mark of 1.59m. Fellow sophomore Gracie Potokar took third in shot put at 11.44m, representing the sixth best mark in program history.

Newhouse along with sophomore Dilys Osei, freshman Kaitlyn Leonard and junior Erica Goldman medaled in the 4x400m Relay to close out the meet, finishing second in a time of 3:57.22.

Over the two days of action, the Eagles totaled nine All-UAA finishes including seven second place efforts.

In the triple jump, freshmen Amy Hunter and Nyla Lindo took fourth and fifth with marks of 10.86m while Osei and freshman Gabrielle Davis finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the 55m Hurdles to round out the Emory scorers on Sunday.

Select Eagles will be in action next will Last Chance Meets in the final tune up before the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships at North Central College from March 10^th and 11^th.
