Sophomore Dani Bland has been named the University Athletic Association Women's Co-Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the Association late Tuesday afternoon.

Bland shined in the 100m Dash for the Eagles over the weekend, posting a sub-12 seconds time to finish second in the event. Bland became just the second Emory women to crack the under 12 seconds barrier in school history with her 11.99 mark. She currently ranks 1st in the UAA and 1st nationally. Bland acted as the anchor in Emory's 4x100m relay team which clocked in a time of 49.28. The group's time stands 1st in the UAA and sixth nationally. Bland also competed in the 200m Dash, posting a time of 25.79 which places her second in the UAA and ninth nationally.

The Eagles return to action this weekend with the Emory Classic on the 24th and 25th.
