In the longer distances, sophomore Liesl Scherrer notched a time of 17:34.12 in the 5,000m run which stands as the 20th best mark in the nation. On the field, sophomore Caroline Hansen placed fourth in the triple jump after leaping a distance of 10.80m.

For the men at the Lee Flames Invitational, senior Brett Lucas showed out in the 10,000m run posting a time of 31:01.58, the third fastest time in program history and the fastest since 2010. Junior Tristan Olpin also posted a top ten time in program history in the 10,000m run as he crossed the finish line in 31:13.96 for the sixth best time for Emory. On the field, freshman Simon Stumbris recorded his best day in an Eagles uniform as he launched himself a distance of 13.84m to place second in the triple jump, which also sits as the 19th best time in Division III this season.
