Senior Kathryn Trinka helped the No. 6-ranked Emory volleyball team to a pair of wins over South Region opponents.

The 6-foot-1 Trinka averaged 2.80 kills and hit .344 (14-3--32) over five sets of action as the Eagles recorded 3-0 decisions over Salem College and Covenant College. Trinka produced a team-high eight terminations in two sets in the the verdict over Salem before posting six kills to go along with a .357 hitting mark (6-1--14) in outcome vs. Covenant.  The victories boosted Emory's win streak to 12 matches and overall record to 16-3. 

Emory returns to action on Tuesday, Oct. 11, when its hosts Oglethorpe University (4:00 pm) and Agnes Scott College (8:00 pm).
