Sophomore Hannah Moriarty helped the Emory women's cross country team to a first-place finish out of 15 squads at the Viking Open hosted by Berry College.

For the second straight week, Moriarty led the Eagles' contingent and crossed the finish line in second place out of 142 runners, clocking a personal-best 6K time of 23:17 -- the second straight competition where she posted a career-best time.

Emory, ranked 35th nationally, claimed four of the top 10 overall runners and recorded 17 points, far ahead of runner-up West Georgia's 85 points.
