Senior (2016):
Took part in seven events ... Scored for the Eagles in two competitions including at the NCAA D-III Championships where she finished fifth among the Eagles' pack with a time of 22:39, which represented her second-best 6k time ... Clocked a personal-best 22:38 at the Inter-Regional Border Battle ... Was Emory's No. 3 finisher at the UAA Championships with a performance of 22:50 ... Crossed the finish line in the No. 49 position out of 333 entries at the Great Louisville Classic with a 6k effort of 23:11.

Junior (2015):
Did not see any meet competition.

Sophomore (2014):
Competed in three events ... Lone 6K she raced in was the Furman Classic (26:55) ... Best 5K of the campaign was a 20:42 at the JSU Foothills Invitational ... Also saw action in the 5K Gulf Coast Stampede (21:16). 

Freshman (2013):
Competed in seven events ...  Scored for the Eagles in five of her six 6K races ... All-Region honoree after turning in a season-best 6K performance of 23:17 that ranked fourth on the team and 23rd out of 193 entries at the NCAA South/Southeast Championships ... Was named the program's Rookie of the Year ... No. 3 Emory runner and 35th overall in a 117-runner field to finish in the Gold Race of the Charlotte Invitational with a time of 23:41 that represented her third-best 6K time of the season ... Competed in the NCAA D-III Championships ... Second-best 6K time was a 23:34 at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble.

High School:
Earned four letters in track and three in cross country while at Palos Verdes High School ... Was coached by Brian Shapiro ... Top 5K time as a prep was a 19:14 ... Was named her cross country team's MVP all four years ...  Helped Palos Verdes to the California Division III State Cross Country Championship in 2011 ... Was her high school's valedictorian.

Daughter of Joji and Deborah Kagei ... Born Sept. 22, 1995 ... Anthropology and human biology major.
