The Emory Athletics Weekly Preview for April 25th – May 1st. This preview is to serve as a weekly snapshot of all upcoming Emory athletic events for the coming week.

Emory Athletics Year-End Awards Banquet:

The Emory University athletic department will be honoring some of its best and brightest student-athletes for their accomplishments over the course of the 2021-22 athletic year. This event will be livestreamed on Monday evening starting at 7:00 PM through the link below so make sure to tune in to see several Eagle student-athletes recognized.

Track & Field:

After competing at the UAA Outdoor Championships this past weekend, the Emory University track & field team will travel across the state to Athens, GA where they will compete in the Torrin Lawrence Memorial meet. The meet is set to kickoff on Friday at 12:00 PM with the men's hammer throw before resuming on Saturday at 10:00 AM with women's shot put. The Eagles fared well at the UAA Championships with both the men's and women's teams finishing in third place and turned in a combined 25 All-UAA performances between the two teams. For the men, the Eagles captured seven event titles and saw freshman Jackson Price and senior Tommy Davis steal the show as each of them earned four All-UAA accolades. For the women, freshman Sarah Fineman and junior Hope Jackson capture UAA titles with juniors Annika Urban, Claire Evans and sophomore Libby Ranocha leading the way with two All-UAA performances apiece.
