Allison Rhodes joined the Emory Athletics Department as an Athletic Trainer in June of 2023.

Rhodes joined the staff after completing a two-year Master of Science in Athletic Training degree at the University of South Carolina (May 2021-May 2023). During her two years at the University of South Carolina, Rhodes worked with South Carolina Track &Field, Women’s Equestrian, Men’s Soccer, Benedict College Baseball and at Health-wood Hall High School. During the last semester of her master’s degree, she completed a 5 month clinical immersion with the Georgia Tech Baseball team.

Allison completed her undergraduate studies at Berry College in Rome, Georgia, earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Business Administration (August 2017- May 2021). During her time at Berry, she completed three and a half years as an athletic training student aid for the Women’s Volleyball team, Women’s Lacrosse team, and the Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive teams. She served as the Student Program Director for the Sports Medicine department her senior year.

She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association, and South Carolina Athletic Trainers’ Association.

Allison grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia with sister Anna, brother Jack, and parents Dusty and Marylynn.
