Junior (2010):

Fennell hit a career-best .308 (eight-for-26) during his junior season, making 16 appearances and starting eight games.  The catcher drove in five runs during the year while scoring nine.  He also stole two bases in as many attempts during the year, and walked nine times to raise his on base percentage to .486.  He hit .381 (eight-for-21) against right-handed pitching.  During Emory's 11-0 win over York College (Pa.) on February 27th, Fennell went two-for-two with three RBIs, a run scored and a walk.

Sophomore (2009):

Fennell played in 18 games for the Eagles during his sophomore campaign, making three starts behind the plate.  He finished the year with three hits in 20 at bats for a .150 batting average, while driving in two runs and scoring three.  Fennell walked five times during the season as well, raising his on base percentage to .308.  His best game of the season came during Emory's 21-1 win over Oglethorpe University on April 15th, when he went two-for-five with two runs scored, a RBI, and a walk.

Freshman (2008):

Fennell appeared in 10 games during the season for the Eagles, making two starts.  The catcher hit .200 for the campaign with one run batted in and one run scored.  Fennell picked up a pinch-hit RBI single during the Eagles' 17-4 win over Huntingdon College on March 2nd.

Attended Christian Brothers Academy, where he played on the baseball team for three seasons, serving as the team's captain during his senior season... Batted at least .340 in each of his three seasons on the team... Led the team to league championships in 2005 and 2006, and a sectional championship in 2006... Was coached by Tom Ootterer... Also played football in high school.
