Senior (2010):

Genn appeared in 10 games during the 2010 season, including five starts.  He finished the year with a 3-2 record and a 8.26 earned run average, while allowing opponents a .347 batting average against.  Genn struck out 20 batter during his 40.1 innings pitched, and was particularly effective against left-handed hitter, who hit just .212 (seven-for-33) against him.  He recorded a 3-1 record during his five starts, including a win against Guilford College on April 9th, during which he pitched a career-high eight innings. 

Junior (2009):

Genn went 2-0 with a save during his junior season, making 13 appearances and two starts.  He pitched 28 innings during the season, striking out 19 batters while allowing a .351 batting average against and a 7.07 earned run average.  Genn helped Emory to a 8-2 win over North Central College on March 21st, allowing just one hit and striking out two in two innings.

Sophomore (2008):

Genn served as the Eagles' closer for most of the 2008 season, recording six saves, the third-most in a single season in school history.  He finished the year with a 1-1 record, and a 5.14 earned run average through 15 appearances, 13 of which were out of the bullpen.  In his 22.1 innings pitched in relief, Genn held opponents to a .256 batting average, while recording 15 strikeouts and a 4.43 earned run average.  Over a five appearance stretch from March 11th to April 2nd, he did not allow a run, while giving up just three hits in 6.2 innings. 

Freshman (2007):

Genn finished his inaugural season with the Eagles with a 3.93 earned run average with two saves and 22 strikeouts in 36.2 innings pitched.  The freshman appeared in 15 total games, making six starts for the Eagles during the year.  Opponents hit just .254 off of Genn during the season.  In his nine relief appearances during the year, he compiled a 1.65 earned run average (three earned runs in 16.1 innings) and held opponents to a .214 batting average.  In his first three collegiate appearances against York College (Pa.), Adrian College (Mich.), and Oglethorpe University (Ga.), Genn did not allow an earned run over 9.1 innings, giving up just six hits and striking out 10 batters.

Attended the Friends School of Baltimore, where he played on the baseball team for four seasons, serving as the captain during his senior year... Recorded a .98 earned run average his junior season and a 1.24 earned run average his senior season... Recipient of the Friends School Athletic Association award for baseball... Coached by Tom Randall.
