Senior (2010):

Terranova appeared in eight games as a position player and eight games as a pitcher during the 2010 season.  At the plate, Terranova batted .313 (five-for-16) with a double, a triple, a home run, seven RBIs and two runs scored.  His one home run was a grand slam against DePauw University on March 23rd.  On the mound, Terranova went 1-1 with a 5.82 earned run average, including 20 strikeouts and a .292 batting average against in 21.2 innings pitched.  He earned his first win as an Eagle on February 28th against LaGrange College, allowing two runs on five hits in five innings. 

Junior (2009):

Terranova finished his first season as an Eagle with a .276 batting average, three home runs and 25 runs batted in.  He also scored 24 runs, recorded three doubles, and stole six bases on 10 attempts.  Terranova hit particularly well against left-handed pitching, recording a .412 (14-for-34) batting average against southpaws, and hit .368 (25-for-68) with runners on base.  He made 35 starts for the Eagles, 29 of which were at third base, and appeared in 39 games.  Terranova picked up a season-best three hits against Washington University (Mo.) on March 11th, going three-for-four with three runs scored, two RBIs, a double and a home run.

Prior to Emory:

Transferred to Emory from the University of Richmond, where he played on the baseball team for two seasons... Played in 11 games, including three starts, for the Spiders in 2008... Attended Unionville High School, where he played on the baseball team for four seasons, serving as the team captain during his senior year... Named an all-district player... Coached by George DeDonato.

Personal:

Born on March 21, 1988... Played high school baseball with current Emory teammate David Hissey.
