Senior (2011):

Shivers hit .264 during his senior season, driving in 19 runs and scoring 25.  Shiver played in 40 games, making 35 starts, and added two doubles, three triples (ranking him 113th among Division III players) and five stolen bases, while walking 22 times.  Shivers hit .361 when leading off an inning (13-for-36) and .340 (16-for-47) with runners in scoring position.  He was three-for-four with a triple and three RBIs against York College (Pa.) on February 20th, and three-for-five with two RBIs and a triple against LaGrange College on February 23rd.  Shivers ends his Emory career ranked 15th in school history with a .429 on base percentage.

Junior (2010):

Shivers' first season as an Eagle was an extremely successful one, as the junior led all Emory players with a .421 batting average, 34 runs scored and 10 stolen bases on 13 attempts.  He played in 36 games, making 30 starts, and accumulating six doubles and a triple among his 48 hits, while driving in 20 runs.  Shivers also walked 16 times during the year, while striking out just 15 times.  In the field, Shivers was perfect as the Eagles' centerfielder, converting all 79 of his chances with four outfield assists.  On March 30th, Shivers set a school record for hits in a game, notching six hits (five singles and a double), while driving in four runs, scoring three, and stealing two bases.  For his efforts during the season, Shivers was named to the all-UAA first team.
