The Emory University Baseball team will play host to 20th-ranked Birmingham-Southern College this week, as the Eagles will welcome the Panthers to Chappell Park for a 3:00 PM game on Wednesday, April 3rd.

Emory will enter the game with a 13-11 overall record after losing two of three last weekend to Covenant College.  Birmingham Southern, ranked 20th in the latest D3Baseball.com poll, stands at 20-8 for the 2013 campaign.

This will be the second of two meetings this season between the two teams.  Emory fell to Birmingham-Southern 7-2 on March 6th in Birmingham, Alabama, despite seven shutout innings of three-hit baseball from starting pitcher Connor Dillman, including 15 strikeouts.  The Eagles are 7-9 all-time against the Panthers.
