The Emory University baseball team will be aiming to build on its three-game winning streak when it takes on Georgia Gwinnett College, an NAIA school, in a pair of seven-inning games on Saturday, April 13^th in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Emory Eagles
Emory's bats have come alive over the past three games, as the Eagles have combined to score 30 runs during their current winning streak.  The team now has an overall record of 16-13 during the year, including a road ledger of 8-4.  The Eagles have scored 170 runs over 29 games this year, good for an average of 5.9 runs per game, while batting .277 as a team.  Emory's pitching staff has a 3.61 ERA, including a 3.28 earned run average from its starters, and has limited opponents to a .281 batting average.

Emory head coach Mike Twardoski, currently has a record of 405-192-1 during his 14-year career at Emory.  Twardoski has led the squad to eight UAA Championships, seven NCAA Tournament Appearances and three Division III World Series trips, including a second-place finish in 2007.  He began the year as the 22^nd-winningest active coach in Division III and the 27^th-best Division III coach all-time with a .685 winning percentage.

Georgia Gwinnett Grizzlies
The Grizzlies are 25-18 this season, including a 13-6 mark at home.  The team will be looking to bounce back from a 9-8 loss to North Georgia College on Wednesday night, its fifth loss in its last six games.  Georgia Gwinnett is led by head coach Brad Stromdahl, who is in his second year with the team.  He is assisted by Stephen Muoio, Scott Ward and Mark Mortimer.
