Emory University sophomore Wes Peacock was selected to the D3Baseball.com  All-South Region Third Team, based on his performance during the 2013 campaign.

This was the second postseason honor for Peacock, who was named to the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) First Team earlier in the month.

Peacock, a right-handed hitting centerfielder, led all Eagles with a .358 batting average and 57 hits during the season.  He drove in 21 runs, while scoring 15 of his own, and added 14 stolen bases on 15 attempts.  Peacock also recorded a season-long 16-game hitting streak, and led all Emory players with 20 multiple hit games.

Peacock also tallied three outfield assists during the season and committed just one error during the year for a .992 fielding percentage.

The Eagles finished the 2013 season with an overall record of 22-17.
