Emory University starting pitcher Connor Dillman was selected to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/ Rawlings South All-Region Second Team, based on his performance on the mound for the Eagles during the 2013 season.
Dillman finished the 2013 season with a 4-4 record and a 2.20 ERA during his 12 appearances, each in a starting role. He led all Eagles with 82 innings pitched and 68 strikeouts, while limiting his opponents to a .215 batting average. Dillman ended the campaign ranked 61st among Division III pitchers in strikeouts, 76th in hits allowed per nine innings, and 108th in ERA. Highlights from his season include a 15-strikeout performance over seven shutout innings against Birmingham-Southern College on March 6th.
Earlier in the season, Dillman was named to the All-University Athletic Association (UAA) Second Team. Last season, he was selected to the D3Baseball.com All-South Region First Team, and chosen as both the region's and conference's Rookie of the Year.
The Emory Baseball team finished the 2013 season with a 22-17 record.
