Senior (2015): 

Dillman wrapped up his Emory career with a 7-4 record and a 3.74 ERA during his senior campaign.  He held opponents to a .236 batting average during his 12 starts, while striking out 59 and walking 46 over his 74.2 innings of work.  The righty held opposing right-handed hitters to a .215 average (44-for-205), and opponents hit just .214 (33-for-154) against him with men on base.  During his pair of NCAA Tournament starts, Dillman was 1-0 with a 1.65 ERA and a .196 opponents’ average, striking out 11 and walking eight over 16.1 innings.  He pitched at least eight innings in a game four separate times during the year, holding the opposition to two runs or less each time.  Dillman had a season-high eight strikeouts on three occasions – against Hendrix on March 21^st, Huntingdon on April 4^th and Wisconsin – La Crosse during the NCAA Championships on May 23^rd.  Following his performance against Wisconsin- La Crosse, he was named the UAA Pitcher of the Week.  Dillman ended his Emory career ranked second in school history in starts (47), third in strikeouts (281) and wins (29), fifth in innings pitched (307.2), 10^th in opponents’ batting average (.231) and 14^th in ERA (2.75).

Junior (2014):

Dillman was named to the ABCA and D3Baseball All-South Region Second Teams and the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) First Team during his junior season, after leading the Eagles with a 10-1 record during his 13 starts in 2014.  The 10 wins were a career high for the right-handed pitcher and tied for the fourth-most in a single season in Emory history.  In addition, he also recorded career-best marks with 78 strikeouts (13^th in school history) and 84.1 innings pitched.  Dillman notched a 2.35 ERA and a .239 opponents’ batting average during the season, and held opposing hitters to a .200 average (19-for-95) with two outs in the inning.  He picked up wins in each of his last seven starts of the season, including three in the NCAA Championships (his two wins in the regionals – including one in the tournament clinching game – earned him a spot on the South Regional All-Tournament Team).  On March 29^th, he allowed just one unearned run in a complete-game win against Birmingham-Southern College.  Dillman struck out 14 batters (the second-highest total of his career) in seven innings against Huntingdon on April 25^th.  He was selected as the UAA Pitcher of the Week on three occasions in 2014 – February 10^th, March 31^st, and April 28^th.  Through three seasons, he ranks seventh in school history with a 2.43 ERA and 22 wins and eighth with 222 strikeouts.

Sophomore (2013):

Dillman was the anchor of the Eagles’ pitching staff during his sophomore season, earning spots on the ABCA/ Rawlings All-South Region and All-University Athletic Association (UAA) Second Teams.  Dillman led all Emory pitchers with 12 starts, 82 innings, 68 strikeouts and an opponents’ batting average of .215.  The right hander finished the year with a 2.20 ERA and a 4-4 record, and was ranked 61^st among Division III pitchers in strikeouts, 76^th in hits allowed per nine innings (7.02) and 108^th in ERA.  He pitched at least seven innings in seven of his 12 starts during the year, and eight innings on three occasions.  Dillman was particularly effective against right-handed batters during the year, limiting them to a .184 batting average (41-for-223).  Against Birmingham Southern on March 6^th, Dillman struck out 15 batters over seven innings, the second-most in a game in school history, while holding the Panthers scoreless on three hits. He threw seven scoreless innings against LaGrange College on March 23^rd, allowing just four hits in the game, en route to the win.  Dillman picked up a win in the Eagles’ final game of the UAA Tournament, pitching eight innings against NCAA Tournament participant Case Western Reserve on March 16^th, limiting the Spartans to two runs on five hits.  He also notched nine strikeout performances against both Rhodes on February 16^th and Oglethorpe on April 16^th.  Dillman was named the UAA Athlete of the Week on March 11^th.  Through his first two years on the team, Dillman has a 12-5 record, and ranks seventh in school history with a 2.48 ERA and 12^th with 144 strikeouts.

Freshman (2012):

Dillman turned in one of the top campaigns by a freshman pitcher in Emory history in 2012, earning D3Baseball.com South Region and University Athletic Association (UAA) Rookie of the Year honors, in addition to earning a place on the D3Baseball.com All-South Region first team.  Dillman set Emory freshman records for wins and strikeouts during the year, and finished the campaign ranked 25th in Division III in strikeouts per game, 37th in total strikeouts, 43rd in victories and 184th with in earned run average.  He appeared in 11 games during the season, making 10 starts and going a team-best 8-1 with a 2.84 ERA and a .235 opponents batting average, both lows among Emory starters.  In his 66.2 innings of work, he allowed 57 hits and 26 runs (21 earned), striking out 76 batters and walking 29.  Dillman earned a win in his first appearance with an inning and a third against Berry College on February 10th, and pitched six innings without allowing an earned run to Washington and Lee University in his first start on February 21st.  On March 11th, in the opening game of the UAA Tournament, Dillman delivered the first nine-inning shutout by an Eagle since 2003 and matched a conference-tournament record with 13 strikeouts during a 6-0 win over Brandeis University.  He went on to earn a spot on the all-UAA Tournament team, going 2-0 with a 1.69 ERA and 20 strikeouts over 16 innings during conference play.  On April 19th against Oglethorpe University, Dillman pitched seven shutout innings, allowing just four hits and two walks and striking out nine batters.  He added a 10-strikeout performance over six innings during a 10-5 win over LaGrange College on April 25th.  Right-handed batters hit just .208 against Dillman (38-for-183), and he held opponents to a .211 batting average (15-for-71) with two outs.  He also limited opponents to just three steals on 11 attempts during the campaign, good for a .273 stolen base percentage, the lowest ever by an Eagle pitcher.  After one season on the squad, Dillman ranks first in the program's history for career strikeouts per game (10.26), 10th in opponents batting average and 14th in ERA.
